Showing off the handywork
We've gotten thrifty in putting together an outfit for Liam for the upcoming Rogue Show at the Daughters of the American Revolution Constitution Hall.
The kilt was made from one of the Isle of Skye sashes from our wedding; the sporran was made from some leather scraps that Stacy passed on to us before heading to Ireland; and the kilt is a work in progress. I cut down an old, moth eaten Harris Tweed coat of mine that I got a few years ago at a thrift store. I managed to cut around the moth holes well enough to make the jacket, then I've got enough scrap left to make a matching vest and hat. Now I've just got to get it all sewn together by Feb. 11.

Trip to Baltimore
Liam naps on the way to Baltimore to check out a possible new house and to help Sgt. Virgil Richardson, USMC, with some photos for his class at DINFOS, my Alma Mater. We took a late lunch/ early dinner at the James Joyce Irish Pub near Fells Point, just for old memories sake.
